Sidni was born in the plains of west Texas but moved to Clemson when she was in middle school. Growing up in a college town didn’t deter her from the University though, because in the fall of 2007 she started her first year and Clemson and continued until she got her bachelors of Science in Graphic Communications. Sidni Graduated and then came to work for Tigertown Graphics in 2012 as a graphic designer! You can generally find Sidni in her corner with headphones in and engulfed in whatever she’s working on (you might need to tap her to get her attention). To get more insight into her as a designer, here's a little interview:
Tools you need to design?
Pencil, sharpener, eraser, sharpies of varying width and my Wacom tablet
Favorite part of working at TTG?
Laid back environment and variety of items that come through us, from custom work to Southern Fried to Clemson…Plus I think everyone who works here is awesome and awesome at what they do
Who/what inspires you in design?
Google! If you google something you can see the good, bad and ugly versions of everything, so there is a good start to see what you do and don’t want. Pinterest is good for finding a variety of creative layouts and styles. I also REALLY like www.vectortuts.com because you can read graphic articles as well as learn some new/brush up on skills through tutorials. I really like Lily Pulitzer right now too, she has great use of color and pattern.
